Gwbert Holidays consists of 13 detached holiday cottages in Cardigan Bay. We’re also able to offer the Harbourmaster Cottage and the Harbourmaster Apartment, both of which are situated in Aberaeron and are linked to our sister property, The Harbourmaster.

The majority of our properties are situated in the stunning seaside village of Gwbert, with one property located in St Dogmaels, on the banks of the Teifi Estuary. Our luxurious holiday homes are the perfect base for exploring the unspoiled beauty of the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coastline. Perfect for families and groups of friends, our holiday homes sleep between 6 and 20 guests.

In addition to their comfortable living areas, sumptuous bedrooms and fully equipped kitchens, our holiday homes also offer their own private hot tub or swim spa. The perfect opportunity for you to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this unique area.

Our stunning Victorian property, Green Meadow, is located in the picturesque, riverside village of St Dogmaels. Located just a 15-minute drive from Gwbert and 5 minutes from the market town of Cardigan, it’s the perfect base for exploring this historical area of West Wales.

Most of our properties benefit from stunning sea views and all properties boast outdoor spaces for al fresco entertainment. Pets are welcome in most properties, subject to a small supplement. In addition to the beautiful beaches, there are plenty of walking routes nearby, so they’re bound to enjoy their time with us just as much as you will! We also have electric charging points in the majority of our holiday homes, making getting around that little bit easier.

Our Gwbert Holiday properties are within easy walking distance of our sister properties, The Gwbert Hotel & Flatrock Bar & Restaurant, The Cliff Hotel & Spa, or the Harbourmaster, all of which offer great restaurants and bars. If staying in one of our Gwbert properties, why not make use of the luxury spa at The Cliff Hotel for a small additional fee.

Gwbert-on-Sea is a small, quiet hamlet on the eastern shore of the mouth of the Teifi Estuary, just a couple of miles outside the market town of Cardigan. The settlement takes its name from a wandering saint, Saint Gwbert, who is said to have landed here and sheltered in a cave. The shoreline is marked by rugged cliffs and small shingle bays, with large stretches of sandbank exposed at low tide, and the area gives superb views over a diverse and scenic landscape. The ancient oak woodland of the Teifi Valley, the tidal marshes of the estuary, and the boundary of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park can all be appreciated from here. The 18-hole golf course, the home of Cardigan Golf Club, also offers fine views of the estuary and sea, and from the headland you can look across to Cardigan Island. The mud and sand fiats of the estuary attract a great variety of birds. In the Autumn such waders as the Redshank, Oyster Catcher and Curlew can be seen feeding here, along with several species of migrating duck. The headland of Craig y Gwbert is the site of an Iron Age Fort. Pieces of pottery have also been found near Gwbert, and are now on display in Cardigan Museum.
